SIKOFANGA

Siko Fanga means the “Power of Dreams.” This team is made up of talented musicians and dancers from three different African countries: Ghana, Senegal, and Burkina Faso.

 

Siko Fanga performs unique and rich traditional African music, as well as powerful and vigorous dances, using musical instruments including the goni, kpanlogo, djembe, sabar, and balafon, which originate from different African countries.

 

THEY PERFORM IN COLORFUL AND BEAUTIFUL COSTUMES TO SUIT A VARIETY OF OCCASIONS, INCLUDING:

AFRAFA ENSEMBLE

Afrafra is made up of African Drumming students of all ages and skill levels. We provide them with various training and performance opportunities to nurture and enhance their self-confidence, as well as to gain professional drumming experience. 

Performing in various events in Hong Kong since 2010, Afrafra entertains its audiences with traditional and contemporary African music.  

Their breathtaking and incredible interaction sections during their performances are enhanced solely with the use of traditional musical instruments from Africa such as the djembe, bells, shakers, goni, balafon, dundunbar, and kpanlogo drum.
